Local Marriage Registration Process in Cambodia

After completing all preparations, you may proceed to the final stage: local marriage registration in Cambodia.

This process consists of four main steps:

✅ Step 1: Visit the Korean Embassy in Cambodia

Bring all documents that were authenticated by the Cambodian Embassy in Korea and visit the Korean Embassy in Cambodia.
There, you must apply for a Statement of Eligibility for Marriage. This document is required to proceed with the next steps.

✅ Step 2: Visit the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Bring all documents, including those issued by the Korean Embassy, to the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
An interview may be conducted, so it is recommended that both spouses attend together.

Submit the same set of documents previously provided to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
An interview may also be conducted at this stage.

After completing marriage registration, it is recommended to submit the Korean marriage registration through the Korean Embassy in Cambodia before returning to Korea.

Once this is done, you can proceed with applying for the F-6 Marriage Visa to invite your spouse to Korea.
